2 oz Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select Rye
1 oz Cardamaro
1/4 oz H.R. Giger Absinthe Brevans
1 bsp Bitter Truth Pimento Dram
2 dashes Bittermens Xocolatl Mole Bitters
Stir everything with ice and strain into a chilled Cocktail glass.
Based on the McClellan’s Curse. I waxed and waned about naming it after the original story, Pickman’s Model, or the wonderfully atmospheric film adaptation of that story, Pickman’s Muse. I felt that Pickman’s Muse flowed better and it was the title that was triggered in my head when I was thinking of making a variation of “McLellan’s Curse”.
