Sunset Cocktail: Classic Ripoff
1 1/2 oz Rittenhouse Rye
3/4 oz Cocci Vermouth de Torino
1/2 oz Rothman and Winter Orchard Cherry Liqueur
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
1 tsp Simple Syrup
2 dash Angostura Bitters
2 dash Peychaud’s Bitters
Shake with ice and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a cherry (I didn’t have one).
The other day I saw this drink posted on The Cocktail Virgin Slut‘s page and knew I had to make it. It’s still a bit chilly at sunset this time of year but well worth the view.
