March of Robots 02-09: Things/Jump/Fun/Ride/Idea/Journey/Nature/Sign

Well, I did say I was going to try to fit a bunch of prompts into the rest of the pics for March of Robots. This one hits 2-9, 2-Things, 3-Jump, 4-Fun, 5-Ride, 6-Idea, 7-Journey, 8-Nature, and 9-Sign. See if you can figure out how I captured all of the prompts in the pic.

I originally intended 7-9 to be separate pic but I found a way to cut down all of the pics I planned from 12 to 10. Like I mentioned before, this will be a busy month so I wanted to cut back on how many I was going to do without missing any of the first 31 prompts.

I’m definitely getting much more comfortable with Clip/Manga Studio. The only think I wasn’t able to figure out so far is some kind of warping tool which I wanted to use for the text on the side of the robot. I was wasting a lot of time searching for answers so I ended up just drawing the text by hand. 

I am pretty happy with how I tried to set the page up showing distance and the flow from one frame to the next. Tried to incorporate some of that learned skill from the first sequential art class (more on that tomorrow). The idea was to have the image in the top left frame make your eyes follow to the frame below it which then would direct your eyes to the right. Overall I’m happy with it. 

I will be a little while before the next one. This one covers the timeline up the 9th and the next one will be a picture covering prompts 10-14 so expect the next pic somewhere between the 10th and the 14th.
